District Council 37 AFSCME is New York City's largest public employee union, with 125,000 members in 1,000 job titles and 61 active local unions. Day in and day out, DC 37 members -- from accountants to zookeepers -- provide the services that make New York City one of the best in the world. Some of us wear uniforms, some of us wear hard hats, and some of us use computers or calculators. DC 37 AFSCME is about improving our members' lives on the job and in their communities.
