Hi!!! I have been posting on flickr for a few years now so I decided to add a lil something about myself.... I am not a professional at all as you'll see from my shots (lol!) but I love taking pics all the same. Between me and my father we're the ones in the family who always have a camera on us. I've always wanted a dslr camera and I finally got my canon rebel xt a few years back and love it. I am still learning how to use it. I just recently took off my training wheels and left auto mode, between learning about aperture, shutter speed and iso it's enough to give you a headache...

My main subjects are my niece and nephew and my cats (I mainly post my cats on flickr) but I love nature and can spend a whole day walking around the Botanic garden taking pictures of the landscape, flowers and birds.

I do hope to upgrade to another camera one day but I need to master my xt first.... I love prime lenses, right now I have 50mm prime on my xt, i've had it on my camera for so long now that my father had to show me how to work a zoom lens again!!! I am definitely going to get another lens this fall. I mainly rent lenses to see which one I like or will get the most use out of before I spend the money on one. Hopefully I can find something I like other than a prime!!! LOL!!!
