Really new to this. So forgive the amateurism...
Just started taking up photography as a new hobby since June 09. So really, don't know that much. Loads of learning to be done... (which is clearly evident judging from my pictures... =P)
A little intro I'd say...?? Ok, here goes... =)
I'm currently using Nikon's D40 (yeah, beginner's camera they say) and use only the kit lens for D90 (Nikorr 18-105mm VR . Somehow the person I bought the camera from gave this away too. Which is a bonus! =P). Thinking bout getting an upgrade. Naaahh, maybe after a year.. =D
I am more musically inclined and I usually see a picture and would relate it to some song I know. It just brings out the emotions from the picture I think... Or rather the emotions I feel when I look at it... After all, art is pretty subjective right..?? =)
I love traveling and seeing new places. Before this I've only relied on my eyes to capture the beautiful views (and my friends' cameras! =P), now I've got my trusted camera with me, and believe me, I rarely go out without it now. Hope it'll be able to capture the essence of the beauty I see with my eyes...
To me, photography is all about the heart and soul of the photographer. I'd take all kinds of pictures but the ones I post are of things that have significance and meaning in my life, pictures of places I've been (with bitter sweet memories accompanying them), pictures of people I care about, pictures of things I love, pictures depicting how I'm feeling at the moment, etc. All of the pictures may be simple, but each and every one of the pictures have some kind of meaning to me and a story behind them. Yeah, I'm a bit of a personal photographer I'd say. Hehe...
(Does anyone actually read these things btw?? Overexcited much..?? Haha... Sorry~~)
Well, hoping I get to learn a lot by looking at others' brilliant photos and also by the comments and critics you all give. Enjoy (if possible!) the pictures in my photostream =)
