All the pictures up until Europe and Russia were taken with a dinky little Olympia -540 automatic digital with a puny 256 mb card, where I could almost never use a flash, had no stand/tripod, and the dust seriously fucked up my zoom ability. This made for lots of delay, one in needing to shrink the picture size before nearly every shot (default was the second largest size, thanks programers...), and in having to rock the zoom back and forth to get it to move. Basically everything that could go wrong did... but in the end the light from the object made it to the data bytes on the card unscathed and virtually unaltered. -I.e. The way I wanted it. And for that, I'm thankful. That's all I needed...
One of my many dreams is to get to go around the world...to explore all the festivals and such...and...just take tons of pictures, and, -the culmination- be paid for it by some magazine! I like to take good pictures, they like to have them in their magazines...it's a win win... *hint hint* ;)
