I'm a freshly 30 dual-national Brit with a shameful lack of exposure to my paternal homeland of Iran, having recently found that my opinion of England – my life-long residence – went from OKish to nonplussed. Concerned that my view of the world would be forever channeled through a thick pair of National Health blinkers, I sought to correct my vision, through exposing myself completely to Islamic Republic, that is Iran.
As cultures crash, flying debris is caught and chronologically arranged for my weekly anthropological vehicle I call www.ddmmyyyy.org.

All my photographs before October 06 were taken using my mobile phone (Windows/Orange SPV C500) at 640x480px. These photos appear in the stream unedited. From October 06 I've used a Nokia 6230i at 1280x1024px. From March 07 I've been using a Sony Ericsson K800i at variable sizes of which these have been mostly unedited.
Often my photos match my writing yet more often than not I display more happenings here on Flickr.

I really enjoy every single picture on here. And now I sound creepy.
We enjoy viewing Iran through his eyes!! Great pictures!
He’s got a brilliant eye for catching the bits and pieces of Iran most don’t bother with, the "everyday" details that turn out far more interesting than the masjed and palace shots offered elsewhere on Flickr. His photos in combination with his words (ddmmyyyy.org) become rather addictive after a few visits.
He's what I'd wish to be if I could live in Tehran.
