Throughout my life I have liked to explore places, especially cities. I also am fascinated with transportation, especially transportation policy and administration and advocate for expanded use of urban public transit. I got my Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University with a major in Transportation and my Masters of Urban Planning with a specialization in Transportation. In my 40 year career I have worked for 4 railroads, as Executive Director of Main Street Blue Island, and as a Service Planner for Chicago Transit Authority. I'm retired now and currently writing a book about the history of some of Chicago's western suburbs.
