David's photography is so cool that it oozes Southernosity, and he approaches it with a scholar's grace and a gentleman's flair. It is a privilege to follow his work as he brings new light to both rural and urban landscapes and the good folks who live there.

David is my brother. He has been serious about photography since we were very young men, and I never cease to be amazed by the firm, straightforward way he goes about making beautiful images. He is a fine photographer, and a great guy who has taught me a lot.
