I am a serious amateur photographer. My main interest is avian photography. The beauty and grace of birds bring me joy that I try to share. I also photograph people -- mostly women -- because I am inspired by the beauty and sensuality of the human form, especially the female form, in its endless iterations.

Since I don't do photography for a living I'm always looking for models willing to work with me on a TFP/CD basis. I'm also looking for collaborators for both nature photography and studio/model photography projects.

I post on Flickr mainly to get constructive criticism. I love to learn from others and share what I know.

Regarding others' photos, I'm an honest critic but I'm never mean.

Regarding others' criticism of my work, I've got a thick skin and always try to incorporate today's criticism into tomorrow's photos.

My photos of people whose "naughty bits" are not covered or otherwise obscured are non-public. If you like my work, or if you already are a contact who is not a "friend" and you wish to be marked as as a "friend," let me know. I'll add you if you're over 18 and have posted either photos you have taken or photos of yourself that have artistic merit.

I use a Canon 1D Mk iii, a Canon 50D and a variety of lenses -- mainly Canon and a few Tamron. I "tweak" in Photoshop CS3 and print on an Epson 2400.
