New Jersey Photographer with an emphasis on wildlife study and open space conservation. I have titled my largest project "Landscapes of New Jersey" and the work includes one landscape photograph for all twenty one of New Jersey's Counties. The goal of "Landscapes of New Jersey" is to represent the diversity of open spaces within New Jersey in the style of traditional American landscape photography. My work has been exhibited at the Morris County Library, Scherman-Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, Duke Farms, Essex County Environmental Center, and the Whippanong Library.
As a paid photo/video instructor I have worked at Unique Photo Store, Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, Duke Farms, Randolph Library, and the Denville Public Library. I have been an independent contributor to the Tamron USA lens company's electronic newsletter dating back to 2011.
My conservation work includes my unpaid role as a board member and Media Relations Specialist of Protect Our Wetlands Water and Woods, a New Jersey 501(c)3 charitable open space organization. I have also performed volunteer photography for the Morris County Park Commission. My professional resume includes Clinical Research Photography and Real Estate Photography.

But another fun thing about having Dave as a friend here are the shots he takes of things that surprise me and the humorous remarks that often go with them. Thanks Dave.

Dave, I have only been able to look at a small portion of what you have here. I think that every shot is just amazing. I am starting out with my first dSLR and your photos inspire me to learn more and carry my camera everywhere. Looking at the photo info, I clearly see that I am out-gunned (your 500mm vs my beginner 200mm) but I try to see how you are capturing your shots. It is refreshing to know that there is such variety of nature here in NJ to shoot. Any feedback on how to you took a particular picture, or criticism on anything I post, would be very welcomed. I love to hear why someone doesn't like a picture of mine, cause I think that if I like something then everyone else will see it that way too. Just wanted to let you know that your post have inspired me greatly and why I added you as a contact, you can delete this after you read it. Thank You, -Adam Brode30

Dave and I have shared an interest in wildlife photography for quite a while now. Dave is always eager to provide helpful advice that he has gleaned from all his time spent out in the field. I'm always keenly interested in Dave's insight as he is a very talented photographer and continually applies new techniques to his work (which is outstanding). His captures of birds and other wildlife display a mastery of technique and equipment rarely seen on flickr. His work is an inspiration to many and I always enjoy seeing what his latest adventure has rendered. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talents Dave and I look forward to seeing more in the future.
