I am engaged with two children, one boy and one girl, and live in a small former mining village about 5 miles off the Northumberland coastline (approximately 30 minutes drive north of Newcastle).

I took up photography through work in 2006 as an estate agent and realised I had something of an interest and a little bit of talent for it.

I started with a Fuji Finepix S7000 and used this to experiment with different styles. I am now hoping now for a little more time to rekindle my hobby and now have a Canon 450D with IS 18-55 kit lens and 70-200 telephoto which gives me that little bit more freedom to try new styles of photography.

Spent a little too much time away from the camera at the minute with growing family, busy work and having just moved house - really must get back out again soon
