David Konecny Photography

Hi, my name is David and I take pictures. Or at least I try to.

Anyway, more to the point: I take pictures of things, places, the odd people pic (more of those recently, yay!), some self-"portrait" work, etc. I guess that's pretty much standard. Nothing special, I'm afraid. Then again, I like to think that simply by taking a picture of the ordinary, the commonplace, I am turning it into something a teeny bit special. Maybe. Or not. Just a thought.

Other than the pics I'm finishing I just recently finished my MA in English language and literature, and am stuck between ditched a lingustics/translation PhD in order to start a literary/film doctorate. I do a bit of work teaching for Berlitz I quit teaching at language schools and have gone back to translating as a freelancer. I'm thinking photography (taking pics anyway) might be just the thing, that next big thing for me. Who knows. I've recently begun to do event and -- even more recently -- bits of wedding photography, but not sure the latter is the way to go. I think journalistic-style stuff might be nice but it really is too soon to tell.

I find the best way to view mine or anyone else’s pics is through flickriver since they're all ready on black, all you do is scroll down looking for a pic you like.
