I've been watching Mr. Griffin for sometime on the flickr community. His shots are clean and crisp and clear, much to be admired in this day where it seems that photoshop is suddenly synonymous with photography. Whenever he displays his tutorials on lighting, I watch closely and take notes and just eat up each and every one. It is obvious that his skill and creativity is advanced, but at the same time he makes his work and the magic behind it accessible to everyone. He is a true master at what he does and executes his shots with close attention to the detail of it all. Not only that, but it is nice to see a photographer be a photographer and artist, creating beauty and wonderful design BEFORE post-processing.

The Griff! What's not to like about one of the strongest supporters of the Sony Alpha on Flickr? His appreciation of using equipment that gets the "best bang for the buck" makes him a very important resource for photographers wanting to take great shots. He's also got a great blog about creating do-it-yourself studio shots, and how to make the best use of your flashes. A tremendous asset to the Alpha community!
