Every photo subject has the ability to evoke feelings and sensations that are unique to only that place at that specific moment in time. Good or bad, beautiful or profane, there are feelings that are present, but typically ignored or lost to distraction. That is the gift of a photograph: the ability to capture a moment (actually nano-second) and isolate the subject from all other distractions.
My aim, hit or miss, is to faithfully represent the scene in a way that reveals the spirit of my subject. And in so doing, offer a one-of-a-kind perspective that was lost immediately following the snap of the shutter.
