I am originally from Texas but live and work in Munich Germany. I have always enjoyed taking photos. About 4 years ago I decided that I was tired of just taking photos and decided I wanted to learn to take great photos and also that I wanted to know more than I did about photography (which was not much at the time).

Since then I have come a long way and now I enjoy photography even more than before. I especially enjoy wedding photography; being part of the most special day in the life of a couple and helping that couple in a small way to remember that special day by capturing the events that take place. It is a large responsibility, but one that has not scared me away from the idea of doing this as a side job.

When it comes to learning, I am especially interested in learning how to light my photos and enjoy reading the well known strobist blog and Rui's blog Lighting Mods.

I also enjoy do-it-yourself projects found on Udi's great blog www.diyphotography.net .
