From Suffolk in the UK

I would describe myself as a keen amateur who has been taking photographs over a long period of time, I bought my first camera when I was eighteen and off to university, it was a trusty Zenith E and despite it being heavy and noisy it was a good first camera to start with especially on a students budget. When I finally moved on from my trusty Zenith I bought a Miranda Sensomat, which did me proud until the TTL lightmeter packed up and and I was finally in a position to buy my first Nikon and I have stayed with them ever since, moving to digital when I bought a D70s and quickly moved on to a D90. When I upgraded the D90 to a D7100, I kept the D90 and had it converted to infrared; my latest upgrade (and what my wife hopes will be my last) is to a D750. Over the years, I have acquired a good range of lenses for both the DX sensor cameras and the D750.

My first love is black and white but but am not averse to colour when it suits the subject; I take pictures for my benefit and I hope that others enjoy looking at them!
