At a young age I discovered my fascination for film, photography, and editing. I was always the one behind the camera snapping shots and recording family events. I loved the challenge of a project that required patience, creativity and talent. Film was my first interest, but as I gained experience my focus shifted to photography. Eventually, in 2008, I created DisponettProductions, and shot my first pictures professionally at a local fashion show. It was then that my career got it’s first major boost. I began networking and through my connections I gained access to jobs and opportunities which benefited me greatly. As my knowledge grew I tried my hand at different types of photography that included fashion, model, and publicity. Film reentered my life as well and added to my company’s portfolio. In 2009 I was appointed one of the lead photographer for the 2009 VA Fashion week and a year later I opened a studio in Virginia Beach. The business and studio did very well and I was fortunate enough to work with Scott Hansen on many of his music video projects. In late December, however, I relocated to Kentucky. The move back home led to new ideas and a fresh start. I pursued a new route and began a youtube help channel labeled MediaUnlocked for fellow videographers and photographers. Along with the youtube channel and various photo shoots, I attended school for film. All of these incredible events have led me here to create a new company named DavidDImages
