David's work is real. Real in the same sense that the rain is real, that the wind is real, that the earth beneath our feet is real. There's a unnerving quality of truth and honesty in his work. Without pretension, without noise. I come back to David's work to be grounded in that.

it's so nice to meet such a 'human' being in such a virtual place... David's photos always feel honest and real to me - his powerful family shots are my favourites and his wern uchaf set just makes me want to be there. He makes me think about the basic values of living - so big thanks for that. If you're ever sitting there sweating the small stuff spend a little time here and imagine the music and the fun - it's where i come to remind myself of what's really important. And although his rather scary job makes me gasp - the resulting photos are fab.
