Getting out into nature helps me preserve my sanity, and I like to make memories of special moments or places from my trips into the wild. As a result, most of my photos are landscapes or macros from out in the wild. I wish I had a better eye for shooting man-made objects, and I am trying to learn more about that. One thing that gets in my way is that I also appreciate sitting around and doing nothing, and my recent discovery of Flickr doesn't help with that. The envy I feel at seeing the beautiful photography on this site, I hope, will motivate me to push myself to experiment more. I joined Flickr for any help I can get to improve my photography skills. Critiques are welcome, as well as feedback about what works for others in my pictures. Some day, I may even pick up a hiking partner or two for Summer hikes in Swedish Lappland.
