Time marches on as they say. I have now turned 60 and am enjoying my photography as much as ever. Over the last couple of years due to family commitments I have been unable to visit many churches but hopefully this year, 2016, I will be able to resume my church crawling in earnest. With the purchase of a trail camera I have discovered a wealth of wildlife on my doorstep, literally, which provides year round interest. Also I have the largest train set in the country, the West Somerset Railway, nearby which through the year gives numerous photo opportunities.

A personal beef of mine is why do people hide their EXIF data. I thought the idea of flickr was sharing the experience of photography. Let us all share not only our images but also an idea of how we made those images.

I am in the USA but did spend 2004 going to 18 UK churches and 12 cathedrals. Plan to go again in 2009. I am a Charles Kempeholic and I very much appreciate the quality of work that David does in capturing Kempe windows. They are elusive and David does a great job. How fortuate he is to have so many of these windows in his own country. He really gets them on target, without the blown out whites typical of bright days hitting a Kempe face. Please keep up the great work David you have a fan across the pond.
