Born 1943 in Romford,Essex I was interested in transport from an early age, starting photography of railways in 1962 and buses in 1967. Moved up to Central scotland in 1973 then to Berwick -upon-Tweed, in 2013. Many of my photographs have appeared in my books on the Blurb website but these are expensive. More affordable (but smaller!) books amounting to 13 titles have been published by Amberley and are freely available ( Amazon etc) . Requests for use of my photographs will be considered - if for publishing there will usually be a fee to cover work required on the original slides , but if for non-profit use the fee will normally be waived. In any case Copyright and my name should appear by the final image.

As at Sep 2022 my "B" series started , with a complete trawl through my slides in chronological order from 1962 on . These in some cases compliment my "good" images already on my site but with different angles , - or just plain "bad"! I have tried to lift the images via photoshop. From the '70s on there will be many rally shots (mainly buses)of static vehicles - or steam traction engines. With the increasing amount of Steam specials running on BR , there will be the 'in-between 'shots taken but not posted on my "A" site before. In each case I hope to provide enough info. to show how the images relate.
