I really started using Flickr more in 2007 than ever before. I've renewed my interest in taking more photos, and now find myself taking my camera most everywhere I go. I don't aspire to be a professional photographer, but I do want to take the best pictures I can with the equipment I have. Right now I have two cameras. The first one is a Canon Powershot A520 that I bought in January, 2006. I have a tele-converter for this camera so that I can zoom in on subjects a little more when necessary. In September, 2007 I bought a Canon Powershot S5 IS with a couple filters. This is a great camera! I also bought the teleconverter for this camera, too. With the built in 12x zoom, and the teleconverter those far away shots can be brought in real close. When I bought the camera I also got a tripod that has been real handy to have recently.

A little more about me. I'm a network administrator for a small company in northwestern Ohio, including doing some accounting work. I do a little web design also on my own site, www.davey1.com. This site is mostly devoted to high school basketball in northwest Ohio, which is another one of my interests.
