In addition, interests include Europe, architecture, transport and the outdoors.

Enjoy walking & public transport and have to drive sometimes, but the ultimate for me is cycling, both utility and for pleasure.

Album here called 'Bavaria to the Baltic' is a 750-mile cycle tour from Munich to Szczecin done in September 2007 by way of a North East spur from the 4,000 mile epic 1978 tour. 'Szczecin - Elblag' is the 2012 continuation, and Riga - Elblag continues in 2015. Further cycling on here includes: 2018 Hungary in May, and a day in Poland in June. 2019: Berlin to the Baltic. 2022: Almería to Algeciras. 2023: Hungary to Romania along the Danube, via Croatia & Serbia. 2024: each country of the British Isles. 2025: Estonia and Helsinki.
