Software developer, geek, and hobbyist photographer from Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. I stepped away from the camera for a few years but am coming back strong with upgraded equipment and a renewed passion for the art. I'm relearning all of the things I left behind and am even starting to dabble in some astrophotography.

I'm currently shooting a Nikon Z6 II. So far I've only acquired one Z lens, the kit 24-70 f/2.8 which has quickly become my go to lens for most of my activities. Fortunately I do also have a nice selection of F-mount lenses and the FTZ adapter is splendid. For astrophotography I use a William Optics Zenithstar 61 II. I've previously mounted it to my Nikon D7500 but will hopefully get to try it on the Z6 II soon!

Of course, I also shoot with my phone as well. My current phone is a Samsung Galaxy S22.
