I am a husband, father and poppa. My calling is as a pastor. I am a writer, translator and photographer. I write for many businesses around the world, and translate for many others into American English. I take lots of photographs, using multiple types of cameras, lenses and filters. I am amazed at the quality we can now achieve with mobile phones.
The outdoors has always been where I love to be. Weather comes in many light-altering forms. I love them all.
Here in Tatl'ah (Dease Lake, BC), the seasons have long been defined by the weather and the way the animals behave throughout the year. The climate is sub-arctic and actually just slightly cooler overall than Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, which is about a 7 hour drive further north. The main reason for the difference is a major difference in elevation. Tatl'ah sits at about 3000 feet above sea level, while Whitehorse, which once was accessed by sternwheelers from the coast, sits at just over 2000 feet.
