My Photography started in the early 1970's, I don't know exactly when. I remember using some small Kodak Camera, and also a Brownie that I found upstairs.

My Mom bought me a Yashica MG1 as a present. I don't remember if it was my birthday or Christmas, but it was winter out so it could have been either. That MG1,with it's lights for over and under exposure was a miracle to me, just the coolest.

I carried that MG1 for a long time a lot of places, from Canadian fishing trips to helicopter assaults in the Marine Corps. I don't remember what happened to it. That's weird. But I have since replaced it with another MG1 and some other Yashica viewfinders.

These days I shoot mostly 35mm with Minolta SLR's and viewfinders and also Sony and Olympus Digital SLR's.

I would like to get into Medium Format film, and do some of my own developing and scanning. The house we bought (15 years ago) has a darkroom in the basement, how’s that for foreshadowing! We have always used it a storage closet. That might change someday.

I have a bit of a GAS problem. If you look at my stream, that's only a part of my gear, there's also some Canon and Nikons in there, but the Minoltas I have are my absolute favorites. I always mean to take more photos of gear but never do.
