I specially like his Tokyo/Japan captures. He shows the modern and vivid part of this country in beautiful black-and-white-compositions. With his photographs he transports the atmosphere of the streetlife by using nice contrasts and light-shadow-effects. The rich contrats in his b&w work could be read for the contrasts in the japanese everyday life. In my opinion Davide Filippini has an artistic approach in street photography, less documentary. Very well worth seeing!
