Photography is a passion I share with my wife and we often go out shooting together. Our holidays, camping around Britain, allowed us to capture images of locations which we love but have sadly come to an end - for now. We console ourselves with captures from the lovely area of North Yorkshire in which we live [near the beautiful town of Whitby. The many villages along our stretch of coast and other things of interest in the area provide lots to keep us happy. In the summer months I indulge my love of Dragonflies and Butterflies and we also shoot Birds and other wildlife native to the region. Strictly a hobby photographer, I started out just hoping to get three or four images good enough to go on our wall. With a wide range of subjects, I always aim to make a good hash of whatever type of image I'm trying to capture. Thank you for your interest and for any comments and favourites. I hope you find something beautiful or fascinating [hopefully both] in my little gallery.

He is also in the caring profession and we all seem to be drawn together. Dave was the 3rd person on my list that worked or works caring for people who are ill both Mentally and Physically. What an absolute star to go from Scaffolding to Savoir of the fragile Dementia sufferers. I am always pleased to see his comments and replys and most of all his images on screen. They are an absolute delight.
