One of my favorite Christmas presents was a camera when I was about 10. I started with a Kodak Instamatic. Then, of course, a Polaroid. My favorite class in middle school was a 7th grade photography class.

About the time I got married I purchased a Minolta XG1 film slr and had that for years. My first digital camera was an HP PhotoSmart C30. The photos were nice but not what I was used to with the slr.

Wanting results closer to an slr I stepped up to a Cannon PowerShot G3. I was very satisfied with the images but it still wasn't a slr. I decided to go with an Olympus E510 and have been extremely happy with it. One of the first purchases I made after the camera was an adapter so I could use my Minolta lenses on the Olympus.

Photography has turned into one of my favorite hobbies. Whenever the mood hits, you'll find me roaming around the area with my camera.

A couple of my favorite things to do is creating panoramas and macro photography. Mine are considered more in the way of close ups than macro but I'm trying to learn.

Any feedback people give is appreciated as long as it constructive. If you don't like a photo, tell me why but please don't just say it sucks. If you want to chat about any of my photos or photography, send me an e-mail. Just keep in mind that I'm far from being a pro and not much more than an fairly experienced novice.
