Hi, I'm David Kennard, a photographer currently based in Market Harborough, in the East Midlands, UK.

Through my photography, I don't intend to create 'art', but rather to record the world around me. Having said that, I do still enjoy the more creative aspects of photography, especially exploring the options available when processing digital photographs.

Most of my images are just snapshots, taken quickly while out on a walk or looking for insects in the garden (most insects won't stay still for anything more than a snapshot). Thanks to my snapshot mentality, I have many photos from towns, villages, and the countryside, mainly around Sussex, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, but also other places I've visited, along with numerous photos of various species of insects.
