If you've ever been to Hong Kong on holiday and visited one of the many souvenir shops, then you're almost guaranteed to have seen one of Daryl's incredible aviation photos for sale. He has just about the most extensive record of photographs of the legendary (and sadly missed) Kai Tak airport in existence, including possibly the most evocative shot of all, THAT Cathay 747 landing between the Hong Kong high-rises just before touch down. www.flickr.com/ph... In recent years Daryl has since turned much of his attention to capturing many of the amazing cars that can be seen out and about on our roads, and he has a knack of finding and photographing some of the rarest and most special examples. It was through Daryl's early car photos on Flickr and shared interest in cars that I met him and since then we have been out countless times doing our best to document the Hong Kong automotive scene through the lens. Daryl's commitment to his photography is amazing - just look through his Photostream and you'll see that almost nothing gets past his lens! In a relatively short space of time Daryl has built a huge collection of photographs of some of the finest cars around. I'm looking forward to seeing what the next few years brings!

Daryl deserves this testimonial for his great passion and time he has put into his photography. All his photos are fantastic examples of his passion. Daryl's photography spans from aviation, cars, marine, nature, buildings and many more. Not only does Daryl spend time on his own photography but he is also a great teacher and willing to share his tips on how to take the best photo. Daryl is always eager to give new techniques, locations and increase his depth in photography by taking photos of different things. Daryl also is constantly looking for the more interesting shot, never just the standard view which just shows how passionate he is and it is evident in his photos. Moreover, I think that Daryl will continue to show his passion with every photo he will take and share with us. I, personally would like to thank Daryl for his time he has spent with me to help improve my photography skills.
