I'm the sort of guy that joins sites like Flickr as a means of self-promotion and then baulks at describing himself. So think of this as a work-in-progress.

I always been interested in photography but for years I all I had was an old Kodak 110 (still have it somewhere) but couldn't always afford to get the films developed. Used to keep them in a box till I'd saved enough to develop one or two.

I bought my first proper camera (a Phoenix SLR) in my twenties when I had a full-time job and could afford developing too. Bought a little digital camera (Nikon Coolpix) a few years later. Loved that camera til it got destroyed. Replaced it with a Nikon D80 which is what I'm shooting with these days.
