I was born and raised in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Five years ago, I moved to Brantford, Ontario, as this is where my new fiance lived. We married 2 years ago. I am a 49 year old newlywed. lol

I have always loved photography, but didn't have a clue about the mechanics of a good photo. I bought my first DSLR 2 years ago, took a night course on photography, read a lot of books and read a lot of online articles. I also joined the Brantford Camera Club, which is where I met some amazing people who are also amazing photographers!

I love landscape photography, although I do try and shoot everything and anything. If taken correctly, any subject can be a captivating photo telling a story. I just haven't quite learned how to do that yet, but I know the possibility is there.

I have recently been bitten by the portrait bug and am now learning about flash. It might be fun to do portraits during the cold snowy winters.
