Never in a million years did I ever think that photography was going to be so much fun. I am finding the learning curve of the dslr world to be both exciting and challenging. The best advice that I ever received was to stop shooting in auto/program modes and to experiment and learn more about the creative and manual settings. From there, the possibilities are endless. I graduated from snapping pictures to aspiring to create them. I am now seeing the world from a different perspective, finding myself to be more in tune with my surroundings. One of the most exciting experiences for me is when the lighting is just right. I can’t help but feel that “…the universe is unfolding as it should.” (from Desiderata, Max Ehrmann) I feel humbled.

There’s still so much to learn, but I’m finding the journey to be a fun one…especially with avenues like Flickr. However, Flickr wouldn’t be Flickr without the countless friends that I’ve made along the way. Your words of encouragement, advice, and support have meant so much to me.

Thanks to everyone who has visited my photostream and who has taken the time to comment and make suggestions. Constructive comments are always welcomed.

Best to all of you!

Gingertwist is a sweetheart! She is cute and smart and deserves a great guy. I wish she lived closer to me. I wouldn't write a testimonial if she did, because I wouldn't want the competition.
