Shallow Afternoon (deleted)

With his subtle use of light and colourful compositions, Jay is a complete inspiration. Hands down, one of the best photographers on Flickr.

I can't say shit about Jay's photos because they speak for themselves. The lighting is impeccable, the models are beautiful and he's an f'ing perfectionist... plus, he's actually not a prick.

Although Jay's day job is "better" for a lot of reasons, he should take a sabatical and give the book that's clearly inside him a chance to get out. At this point, he could take all the portraits of his muse Kari, add in a few of the stronger ones of other people and I'd buy xeroxed copies of it for my bookshelf, let alone a nicely bound version. Not because his wife is beautiful (though she is), but because he's been able to develop a style that's consistent, adaptable, visually interesting, and still playful.
