II am a hobbyist photographer, and my dream is to have at least one shot published. I've been taking pictures my whole life but only recently with a DSLR, so I still have alot to learn. My camera was bought as an early Christmas present in November of 2010. I've experimented with street life, people, weddings, mostly nature. I try as many new things as possible, the camera and I are becoming better acquainted everyday, and shoot whatever whenever I can. Forget American Express, I never leave home without my camera :)
Not every picture is amazing, but using your mind and your eyes to twist yourself into a camera and a lens for a moment to find the perfect picture or angle is my favorite part.
What is also fascinating are the lengths to which one goes for a photo... I've been in ditches, treked through snow and water, gotten wet, frostbitten, frozen, dirty, muddy, poked, pricked... and when your in that moment with your camera every minute of it is worth it... and I would do it all over again:)

To be honest I've never felt the need to write a testimonial before, but, every one of your shots has a kind a heart warming feel to it, shot for a reason, it relates so well, if this was your intention, you are already there. This is a stream to grab a drink, and sit and enjoy by a fire - a sheer joy. I love my photography but I feel I' maybe lacking something you have, what it is who knows..... thanks for faving some of my shots and I'll follow with interest,.
