Drag to set position!
Updated August 2011...
Hi I'm Rich, railfan since 1975, when as a 9 year old, I stayed in a holiday home literally yards from a level crossing on the line from Worcester to Hereford. The second day we were there, I was stood gazing up at the signal box and was invited in by the bobby, that was it, hooked ever since. In my time, I've spent too many years chasing all sorts of rare engines in the stupidest of obscure places, anyone remember Blair Atholl at 2.30 in the morning, up midnight to down midnight at Taunton, or the 0210 Manchester-Cleethorpes? I was there!
Don't get so much time these days, but a weekend may find me somewhere chasing the mighty Mirrlees monsters, linesiding at Northwich, Warrington or Peak Forest with my Canon 450 D-SLR, or when she's back to health, enjoying the wonderful Maybach music from D1015 on the mainline.
That said, as part of an aim to find some new horizons, I'm looking towards the States and some time photting the massive variety of freight that moves by rail across the continent. I've done the first trip on a small scale early in 2012. Let's face it, I'm only going to get away with that Tug at Northwich pic so often.
Play nicely gang, peace to you all.
Now the small print...
I will consider any request made to use my images. However, that does not give you carte-blanche to take what isn't yours. I'm open to any request, be it from an individual, a group, a website, anything up to the largest corporations. What will not be tolerated is copyright theft. I have previously found my images used on websites, even found prints of them for sale on ebay. Don't do it, I will hunt you down, I will find you and I will litigate to the fullest possible extent. I spend a lot of time and money obtaining and displaying my work for all to see, the least anyone can do in return is ask for permission. thanks y'all!
