I take photos because I have to, they record and express so many things for me.

I like attempting to photograph moods, feelings and concepts, even if one of my photos looks straight forward, there's always a lot of thought behind it and a shot can be in my head weeks before it becomes a reality....so a lot of my photos are very personal. I'm also often influenced by music and love trying to illustrate whichever song is stuck in my head.

I also love spontaneous photos and love it when a shot just materializes before my eyes and I know that (to me) it will be perfect.

And if I could afford to pay a model I would...I'm not a complete narcissist and resort to taking self portraits because I have to...of course I could just not take photos at all, but that would make me sad.
