I was born in 1981, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Beginning my path towards art as a career started early when I depicted fantasies on paper as a child, leading towards a B.F.A. in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2005. Upon graduation I turned away to make some comics and small animations in my spare time. But the plasticity and freedom found in the medium of painting took over in 2009. In 2010, I began exhibiting artwork that takes inspiration from archaic progenitors in order to model my notion of a more authentic artmaking that focuses on the habits and obsessions of the body. To date, I have shown my paintings in Atlanta, Tuscaloosa, and Los Angeles and still enjoy making comics and illustrations.

I currently live and work out of Merced, California.
