My primary motivation in photography is to record memories, make portraits of friends, and capture beautiful natural scenery. I use the favourites button in Flickr to gather the type of photos I like.

I have recently upgraded to a Canon 550D from a Canon PowerShot G9. The G9 is a great camera and enabled me to learn about the various camera settings. It now serves as a handy pocket camera.
