Danniestar has a great eye for shape, light, colour and texture, she explorers form not content, effortlessly creating artistic and iconic imagery from the quite ordinary. I don't think she is consciously trying to create what she does, which is why it is so much more interesting, she works by feeling not wanting to copy others or create anything calculated to fit a perception. It is this freedom that gives her work such variety of subject, but I think more and more she is developing a unique style that characterises her work and sets her apart from other similar photographers.
