I'm 37 (38 at the end of this month), mother to two teenagers (a daughter, 18, and a son, 15), and have been married for eleven years to my best friend, Jay.

I love exploring, and often do it vicariously through my National Geographic subscription. I love good food, would rather be in jeans, and suspect that I may be addicted to iced tea.

I am a visual communicator (photography, writing, design & layout) with a dollop of marketing thrown in for good measure.

When I occasionally find the time to read, I like a good thriller, especially if it has a religious/mystic bent. (And yes, I liked the DaVinci code, but was reading this genre *way* before Dan Brown even thought about publishing his book.)

I joined Flickr for a convenient way to share my photos, but I've been rewarded with friends who are witty, talented, and downright delightful. As another Flickr member opined, I'm not looking for "notches on my Flickr belt" but to meet like-minded people that are interested in photography and camaraderie.
