I'm a Humanitarian Photojournalists whose goal is to bring about awareness and change in our world through the power of photography.

After being absent from photography, as I played the role of a successful Web Designer and Web Programmer, I feel my heart pulling me back to my real passion — photography — specifically, humanitarian and documentary photojournalism.

Combined with my experience as a professional Darkroom Technician, years working with analog and silver gelatin prints, and my former training in photography, from the Colorado Institute of Art, I'm discovering new ways to apply those principles to the digital negative and modern post production techniques. I feel this ability gives me a unique edge that sets my images apart in our digital era.

I shoot digital with an analogue philosophy. Meaning, the image should always be created in the camera, not in Photoshop. Photoshop should be reserved only as an artistic option for enhancing the feel of the moment, much like Ansel Adams did in the darkroom. However, I'm adamant that Photoshop should never be used as a bandaid or to create that which wasn't there to began with.
