I am a lifelong Marlborough resident in the 4th generation of my family to live here. My grandfather John Werner was on the Marlborough City Council in the 1950's. My father is a Navy Reserve Veteran who was laid off from Digital after over 20 years of service when the company was bought out by Compaq. My mother was an educational assistant and is now a Special Education secretary and has served in the Marlborough Public Schools for nearly 20 years.

I attended the Marlborough public schools from kindergarten through high school, graduating from Marlborough High in 1997. I graduated Cum Laude from St. Anselm College in 2001 with a degree in Criminal Justice. I attended law school at night while working full time and graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 2006 and passed the Massachusetts Bar. I am a member of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society for the Social Sciences.

I have been working in the State House for nearly five years serving the people of Berlin, Marlborough and Southborough as legislative aide to former State Representative Steve LeDuc.

I am a member of the Marlborough Democratic City Committee and Marlborough Medical Reserve Corps. I also a volunteer for the Marlborough Holiday Helper Program, the Youth Commission, and the Recycling Committee.
