I am a mother of 2 boys, a wife of 20 years and an artist of sorts, living in Northern New Jersey.

I have always been a "crafty" person. Making handmade items and keeping journals for as long as I can remember. 16 years ago, before the birth of my firs son, I started scrapbooking. It started with baby books and turned into monthly journal entries. I chronicled everything.

From there, I found my love of paper. Paper is my medium of choice. I believe everything starts with paper. It is so versatile an has so many functions.

With an unexpected retirement 7 years ago, I found my true "inner artist". I took workshops and expanded my search of things I could do with paper. I now feel confident enough to call myself a Paper, Mixed Media, Art Journal Artist. Because paper is in so many things, it is hard to pick just a few to associate with. I have trouble trying to box myself into a category. I am always trying new things and everything I do usually has an element of the unexpected.

I am very passionate about my art. It is my new reason to get up in the morning. I have to find time every day to be creative. It is in my soul, and I have to feed it daily.

I am very fortunate to have my art and articles published in several publications and have had the pleasure of designing for wonderful people. The art world has opened so many doors for me and I continue to grow every day.
