I have been following many contemporary Street Photographers and Street Portrait Photographers for several years. In short: Daniel's collected works here on Flickr represent one of the finest overall collections of Street Photography that I have seen. Mostly in Black and White, his images are perfectly composed, often framed or vignetted, and each seems to come to life with the characters he has captured in the photograph. There are many hundreds of thousands of individuals who seem to think that merely shooting scores of photos of persons walking down the street IS street photography. Study Daniel's works here and you will learn that 'real' street photography consists of images that are thought out, well conceived, or well seen and captured and which convey something unique. The uniqueness can be that special 'moment in time', it could be real irony, appreciable humor, an appeal for compassion and understanding, or even a very pleasing interplay of light and shadows which allow the viewer to let his/her imagination soar. Daniel's image make you want to pause....to study....to learn. Mr. Bovo is a real artist on the streets!!
