Christian. I believe in the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the Cross at Calvary for the sins of every man. It is through faith in this unique event in space, time and history that one can have a relationship with the living God. It is through faith In Jesus' death that one can receive the grace and mercy which was won on the cross because of Jesus' death.

Without faith in this event we do not receive mercy and grace but eventual punishment which is separation from God. This is because we are sinners by nature and have been since Adam and Eve sinned against God. Humankind throughout history bears their legacy. Thankfully, it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we can know God and His astonishing love which He wants to pour on us. He cannot do that until we repent of our own sins before Him and ask for His forgiveness and accept that Jesus is who he claims to be as expounded in the Bible.

God who refers to himself as 'I AM' in the Old Testament. (Exodus 3:14) and Jehovah (Exodus 6:3) are but a few of his names. Although never specifically refered to in the Bible, God is one in three - Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit.
