I've been interested in photography since childhood, because my father was a good photographer, and I'd see him taking pictures of us, and saw the excellent results. I started taking pictures at the age of 9 with his camera, and with many other cameras for more than 70 years now, including professional photography.

My father even made up his own developers by weighing chemicals individually, and he had used about 50 different cameras during the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s (including Leica and Rolleiflex TLR). Even used glass plate negatives in his earliest days. Many of his family pictures can be seen in my album of Childhood Pictures.

Now in my retirement, I am writing a book on the History of Photography.
