I am an amateur photographer who enjoys being outdoors taking pictures. I mainly do landscapes, nature, flora, urban decay, night photography and some alternative processes (salt prints, Van Dyke Browns, Kallitypes, etc.). Most of my work is on medium format film. Needless to say I only vacation in places with good photo opportunities. It's also really fun to watch the reaction on peoples faces when I pull out my medium format film camera and start loading 120 format film backs. They act like I'm from another planet or something. Film isn't dead and as nice and easy as digital is it just doesn't do night photography very well with really long exposures. I love photography enough to be back in school studying it. I've also learned that photography takes a loving spouse who puts up with my leaving my color film processor on top of the washing machine and putting up with the wonderful aroma of warm C-41 chemistry.
