I very much admire the honesty of Dan's photographs, I envy the mood he is able to capture in his view finder and pass along. Two such offerings that have that effect, that come to mind are "Shaw Neighborhood" and "Midtown from the Lower East Side". The first provides a certainty that the inhabitants of the houses shown are just waking and coffee in hand they spend the morning turning the pages of the Times. The second photograph, didn't so much conger thoughts of what was happening, rather it had the effect of making wish that I was in the picture. I so want to be there. I have never in my 53 years been this affected by a photograph. Just keep them coming Dan.
