Retired from the rat race, I live along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, in the Denver Metro area. I love the mountains, and spend as much time hiking, and climbing, (photographing as I go)...as I can! I feel like I NEVER get enough of the landscape. We are blessed with mostly clear and brilliant blue, particle free skies at higher altitudes, unless there are wildfires. I also enjoy bird watching, and so, bird photography, nature, and nature photography!

I dreamed of being a photographer at some young age while browsing the evocative landscapes of the National Geographic. It's a challenge to capture living beauty in the same way that the eye is capable of beholding it. A photographic image is just not the same as seeing with the human eye.

I think that I became a serious photographer about 30 years ago, but I am always learning! It has become my journey as a landscape and nature photographer to capture bits and pieces of the outdoors when it is ripe with light. I want the photographic image to catch and hold the eye and allow the mind to see the whole...
